STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOME:
Upon successful completion of Math 155, the student
should be able to:
For a given set of problems the student will demonstrate quantitative reasoning by developing a problem-solving strategy, performing appropriate analysis and computation, and critically assessing the meaning of the conclusion or outcome.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This second course in a three-semester calculus
sequence covers advanced integration techniques, improper integrals, infinite
series, conic sections, parametric equations, and polar coordinates. The course
is designed for mathematics, science, and engineering majors.
PREREQUISITE:
MATH 150 with a grade of “C” or better,
or a qualifying score on the Math Competency Exam (MCE).
